If several members want tuition it may be possible to hire a hall and have a group class, otherwise, individual tuition is available from club members who are also Machine Knitting tutors.
Several years ago, a programme of lessons and workshops to help new machine knitters and “returners” those coming back to the craft after a long time, was developed by April.
Sessions started in November 2011 and continuing monthly until May.
We covered a wide range of techniques, and all enjoyed the classes immensely. April, our tutor was unstinting with her tips, help and advice.
